Ordering Repeat Prescriptions
You can order a repeat prescription in the following ways:
- Online by completing our Request a Repeat Prescription triage
- in person or by post, using the right hand side of previous prescriptions with required items clearly marked. If your prescription is to be returned by post, please remember to include a stamped self-addressed envelope.
Repeat prescriptions are available within 2 working days.
Repeat prescriptions are normally for patients with long-term conditions who receive regular treatment. Your doctor will decide who can have a repeat prescription. From time to time we will ask you to see your doctor or nurse to review your medication. We do this to monitor your illness and medication.
We do not take requests for prescriptions over the phone unless the patient is registered as housebound.
